Magda Hueckel was born in Gdansk in 1978.
In 2004 she graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Gdansk
Faculty: graphics. Specialization: photography, stage design. Diploma in 2004.
Additional studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia (2002)
and graphics at the Schule fuer Gestaltung in St. Gallen, Switzerland (2001).
 
She deals with photography, graphics and stage design.
In 2002 she established (with Agata Serafin ) a photographic group under the name hueckelserafin.
The group is a holder of the Award “Sopot Muse for Young Artists” granted by the Mayor of Sopot in 2004.
 
Since 2005 she is a member of ZPAF (Association of Polish Art Photographers),
and since 2008 a member of French Fet Art Associacion.
She has lectures on Photography and Graphics at the ZPAF Study,
works in Warsaw theatre Teatr Współczesny,
collaborates with theatre of Krzysztof Warlikowski (Teatr Nowy) and Teatr Ateneum.
In 2009 she received a grant from Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
She cooperates with Piekary Gallery (Poznan, Poland), Wanted Paris (France) and Millennium Images (UK).
Currently she lives and works in Warsaw.
