In 2006 I created a project "Obsessive self-portraits".The cycle refers to the fear of inevitable destruction of body caused by illness, age or injury.

Ten years later the obsession became a reality.  "Obsessive self-portraits" were recreated and took a new form. “Non-obsessive self-portraits” show the opposite process - curing the disease. The gesture of letting light into photography is a symbolic healing here.

The project was created with the support of  by Fundacja Archeologia Fotografii (Archeology of Photography Foundation).
