KOMPLETA (Poland 2025, 65 minutes)

The film is an intimate record of a difficult period in the lives of the filmmakers. The main character, when she was eight months pregnant, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. The dramatic event disrupted the joy associated with the birth of her child.

Magdalena Hueckel, visual artist, and Tomasz Śliwiński, director, are known for their Oscar-nominated personal documentary “Our Curse”. In their latest film, they make an experimental attempt to process trauma through art by combining raw documentary footage with elements of music video, photography and collage.
